Yesterday (Sunday, April 20, 2008) we arrived home again ! Once again with a car and trailer full of "stuff" we have accumulated over the past couple of years. Gads !!
We will spend a few days finding permanent and temporary storage for all this "stuff" and begin packing for the next bit of time away from this home we like so much.
We will be off to Georgia in a couple of weeks where we will visit Cynthia's brother John, his wife Jacquie and their family. After a few days we will be driving away with their 1998 GMC Safari mini van. It will become our primary mode of transportation on the ground for some time to come. The Pathfinder, with 292,000 miles on her, will be in semi-retirement after having served us well for over 15 years.
Once we leave Georgia we will make our way to Charleston, SC where we will jump aboard a ship bound for Bermuda. We will stay a week. Then it is off to Indiana to visit Roberts Mom in her new home in Rochester. She will have been there just a month.
We will leave Indiana and head to Southern California once again. One more time Robert must visit his Opthomologist in an attempt to get the Glaucoma medications right. Also, we may be delivering some special furniture to Kelly from the Coca Cola store in Atlanta !
We'll be home for the summer and reservations are building for the west wing, so if you are planning to visit, Call first !! We'll try to work with your schedule !!
We will be leaving again in the fall and will post the details at the end of summer.
